Others' words.

I am enjoying a clear morning break after days of rain and gray.  I love the dark days and the rain, but the sunny Berkeley morning is nice too.

My friend Valya posted one of our harsh photos on her blog and wrote a great bit of prose that summarizes our work.  I highly recommend you visit her blog.  Her work can be soft and sensual or rough with jagged sharp edges, and everything in between.  Her words are important and used sparingly to keep from overstating the point.  One of my goals is to work with her again in the next year.  She is a true artist.


Alex wrote a powerful post on erotic imagery, pornography, and a potentially new form of racism.  I guess one purpose of art is to push boundaries and expose truths in society.  Too bad some of those truths still live.
